Week 2 of CGMA level design course, this weeks focus was on shapes and using a limited number of shapes to create a playable level.

I wanted to create a big 'reveal' that created questions fo the player. I focused on the metrics, making sure the player could make all the jumps, I didn't want to create a segment that was too 'difficult' for the player. The spawn point went through several iterations, but I wanted to build up to the openness of the main level.  

Overall this was a great experience and it was great to play with verticality and making the most of limited shapes, letting the shapes and the space speak for themselves.
